New Feature: Quote Inventory Reservation

Hi there,

We’ve added a new feature that allows you to automatically reserve inventory for quotes for a specific number of days, ensuring that items stay on hold while your client decides.

You can configure this under Settings -> Orders section using the new option:

“Reserve Inventory for Quotes (Days)”

• Setting this to 0 means inventory will not be reserved for quotes.
• When enabled, newly created quotes will hold the selected inventory for the specified number of days.
• The reservation will be displayed on the quote page as:
  “Reserved Until [Date, Time]”

• You can manually release the hold at any time by clicking “Release Reservation” within the quote.

Changing this setting only affects new quotes — existing quotes will continue to honor their original reservation period.
