Safer Refunds on Payments

Hi there,

Refunding a payment is now protected against accidental double refunds, so your books and your customer's card statement always match.

What's New:

• The Refund button locks as soon as you submit, so a double click or a slow connection can no longer send the same refund twice.

• Two people refunding the same payment at the same moment are handled safely: only one refund goes through.

• Each refund amount is checked against what is still applied to each invoice. If an amount is too high or not a valid number, the refund is stopped and a clear message explains why.

How It Works:

• Open a payment from Accounting → Payments and start a refund as usual.

• Enter the refund amount for each invoice and submit once. The button disables itself while the refund is processed.

• If you see the message about the refund amount, reload the page to see the current amounts and try again.

Benefits:

• No more duplicate refunds to undo with your payment gateway.

• Invoice balances stay accurate.

• Peace of mind when several team members work on accounting.
